As the Founder and CEO of Pacific Allied Asset Management, LLC (“PAAM”), J. Lawrence Han has successfully transformed PAAM into a leading fully integrated global commercial real estate investment and management firm.
Mr. Han began his career in real estate investment in 1983 working for Realty World-Stars, a full service Real Estate Investment, Management, and Development firm located in Plymouth Meeting, Pennsylvania. Upon moving to Southern California in the mid 1980s, he served as a commercial real estate investment consultant for a major real estate company before starting PAAM in 1991. Throughout his career, Mr. Han has offered the full range of real estate portfolio services for both domestic and international investment partners.
Leading PAAM for over 20 years, Mr. Han has represented over $500 million in real estate and financing transactions and managed assets in excess of $450 million. He acquired, financed and managed diversified real estate portfolios which include shopping centers, apartment complexes, office buildings, hospitality facilities, and sports facilities. Currently, Mr. Han represents numerous investment entities either as a managing partner or partner. He also actively invests with PAAM’s partners to share the risk and profit of each investment.
Mr. Han graduated from The Graziadio School of Business and Management at Pepperdine University with a degree in business management. He further extended his quest for expertise by completing 1) Study Abroad Program at the University of Oxford, England, 2) Executive Education Program at the Harvard Business School, 3) Advanced Management Program at the Seoul National University, and 4) CFO Academy at the Seoul National University. In addition, he has held the designation of Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) since 1994.
